Meet Our Team Of Professionals

As the sole therapist licensed in both Arizona and North Carolina, she offers personalized therapy services to clients in both states, providing flexibility through in-person and telehealth options.

"I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Arizona and North Carolina, and the founder of Brave Heart Therapy. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. I specialize in working with individual adults (18+) navigating trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD, anxiety and depressive disorders, mood disorders, and life transitions.

I am a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist as of September 1, 2023. I also have training in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Structural Dissociation Theory, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I integrate based on each client’s needs.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and multimodal—meaning I draw from a range of evidence-based methods to support clients in uncovering the roots of their distress and finding meaningful relief.

As a therapist, my goal is not just to do something for you—but to be something for you: grounded, present, compassionate, and real. I’m warm and down-to-earth, but also direct. I believe in holding space and also holding you accountable—because that’s how real change happens. My aim is to create a safe, accepting space where you can show up fully, feel supported, and begin to challenge and rewrite any self-defeating narratives that no longer serve you."

"I am Licensed Associate Counselor of Brave Heart Therapy.  I earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Colorado and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Arizona State University. I provide psychotherapy to individual adults (18+) and specialize in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma processing.

I have been trained in level 1 EMDR processing, which I completed January 2024. In addition, I utilize other modalities including: ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

My theoretical orientation is trauma informed, client centered, feminist, and multiculturally minded. I use all these various orientations to provide a well rounded therapeutic experience for clients from all walks of life.

As a therapist, my intention is to provide a safe place to explore the ways in which mental health issues have been a barrier to living a fulfilled life. In addition, I also help clients identify their strengths and resilience so they can be confident in navigating life’s ups and downs moving forward."

"You deserve pleasure—not the kind you have to earn, justify, or shrink yourself to hold. The kind that’s rooted in your truth. The kind that rises from within you—unruly, alive, and wholly yours. Maybe you’re exploring gender or sexuality, unlearning shame wrapped in religion or stitched into old survival strategies. Maybe you’re longing for relationships—with partners, family, friends or with yourself—that feel more honest, more liberatory, that honor all of who you are.

I’m Logan (they/them), a queer, nonbinary, multiracial, neurodivergent LAC and sex therapist. I support individuals and couples navigating gender, identity shifts, religious and sexual trauma, non-monogamy, kink, intimacy, and the lifelong work of reclaiming the parts of you once deemed too much or not enough.

My approach is collaborative, affirming, and rooted in liberation. I don’t believe you need to be fixed—Healing is a slow, sacred reunion with yourself. Therapy with me might include tears, laughter, resistance, weird metaphors, and a slow return to softness, agency, and joy. Come as you are—I'll meet you there."
